Company founder and Managing Director, David created Connected Gardens to combine his love of horticulture with a desire to put his creative brain to work. A true man of the earth, David uses his years of farming and understanding the rhythms of nature, to design and build gardens that provide connection and harmony between home and the outside world. Working directly with clients to select just the right plants to connect the client with their garden is what inspires David day by day.

Having lived and worked around the world for a decade, James brings a wealth of construction experience to the team and a love of beautiful outdoor spaces. James relishes creative problem solving and working with clients and the team to create a lasting, beautiful and inspiring garden.

John brings to the team a lifetime’s experience of lawn and irrigation systems as well as the biggest smile on the crew. A skilled operator on the excavator and loader, he makes earthworks look easy (it isn’t!) A keen eye for detail and great instincts for landscape construction, John builds and maintains gardens worthy of the PGA

Lucy comes to the team having worked with industry leading landscape architects and on major projects. With exceptional design skills and dirt under her nails, she’s the ultimate double act. A qualified Horticulturalist, Lucy designs gardens and provide plant schedules that respond sensitively to the site and the needs of the client.
