Project Gallery - Barrabool Hills, Victoria
This project truly was a complete transformation. The backyard was an unused wedge of lawn with boundary planting that provided no incentive to spend any time out there. But with fantastic views of the rolling Barrabool Hills, a bold reimagining of the space was required. And so while dealing with exceptionally tricky access, the team got to work on completely altering the lay of the land. Central to this garden design was a new natural pond with a waterfall, in collaboration with the talented Daniel from Pond and Garden Waterscapes. Butting up to this tranquil waterscape is a curvaceous crazy paved outdoor dining area in gorgeous Santos stone. Feature trees, layered planting and use of natural stone enabled the front, courtyard and backyard to feel cohesive and connected as a whole.
